We want you to know that the information you send us is held in strict confidence and that when you give us your e-mail address we do not share our email lists with third parties for marketing purposes. We use your email addresses to communicate with you regarding your orders, other matters regarding transactions between us, and for newsletters regarding special sales, new work we have made, and free jewelry drawings that you may have signed up to receive.

SHIPPING TIME

Please note that our entire inventory is hand made and it requires time in the making. Many of our pieces are limited edition items and if in stock, these items will be shipped 1-3 days after receiving your order. Those pieces not in-stock may require 1-3 weeks.

GIFT REGISTRY

We currently have a gift registry in our store for the purpose of gift-giving. It has been our experience that this system works as it helps the person giving as well as the one receiving. We are working to have this service available to you on our website and hope to have it completed shortly. In the meantime, be certain when in our store to inquire about it, to fill out the form, and have your personal ring sizes and wishes recorded.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

We offer boxed and gift wrapped gift certificates in any amount you desire and we will ship to your specified location. We are currently working to make this service available to you directly on our website, but until that time, please call the store with your gift certificate order.

GIFT WRAPPING

We will be offering a gift wrapping option, at no charge to you, when you are in the checking out part of the process. It is not completed as yet, so if that is your need today, please call to let us know that you want this service.

GIFT RECIPIENTS

Gift recipients are entitled to a nonrefundable merchandise credit. Please carefully follow the rules for all return merchandise and be certain to include not only your personal information for future mailing but the name of the person who gifted you so that you will be guaranteed the correct credit amount originally purchased for you.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Because custom orders can have many variables, there is no set completion date, however, most are normally completed within a 3-4 week period.  If placed during our busy summer season, June 1- September 1, it could take longer. Because we include the customer along the way in the making of the custom piece, and in the final design decision, all custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable for any reason.

RING RESIZING

When browsing our ring collection, you will notice we have included the ring’s size. For most rings, we are able to resize them, within a reasonable number of sizes up or down. This procedure is at no cost to you when purchasing a ring from us.

SALES TAX

Mary Ann Archer Designs collects 6% sales tax for all Michigan residents.

WARRANTY

Mary Ann Archer offers a one year warranty against all defects in materials and workmanship. Accidents can happen and often we are unaware of the occurrence until after the fact. It’s wise to take preventative steps in protecting your jewelry investment. We do not cover damage caused by normal wear, neglect, misuse, or accidents. These include damaged or lost prongs if not checked within six months(we do this for free) from date of purchase, stones that have cracks or have been damaged in some way, gemstone or pearl strands that have been pulled apart by accident or by children, silver jewelry that has lost its antique patina because of being cleaned in a potent dipping solution.

PRICING AND PROMOTIONS

Website information and pricing are subject to change due to errors, omissions, or metal market price fluctuations. This includes all silver and gold products.

RETURNS
Articles are accepted for “STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE ONLY, if returned in perfect saleable condition within 10 days accompanied by your sales receipt, in the original packaging, and with any attached jewelry tags. We DO NOT return money paid to us. For your protection, insure your return in a sturdy package (no envelopes) as we are not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise.  Returns may be sent to our store via FED EX, UPS, or USPS, insured, or priority mail.
