An original oil painting on linen board. I was painting the Sleeping Bear Dunes from a beach in Empire one Sunday morning. When I finished, a man approached me and said he had taken photos of me painting and would I like to have one sent to me? His photo was the inspiration for this self portrait. The canvas measures 12″ x 16″ and framed 15.5″ x 19.5″. The frame is a sort of rustic white wash drift wood finish. I’ve added an extra photo of the painting framed. It’s not the best photo, but will give you an idea of what the frame looks like.
