Description

Most Michiganders know what a Petoskey Stone looks like; they have a hexagon-shaped design and in each hexagon chamber is the prehistoric remains of a salt water marine life; a living organism. You always see people with their heads down walking along the beaches in northern Michigan, searching for the elusive fossilized coral. I make a few pieces of jewelry every year with these stones for those collectors wanting to wear a piece of jewelry with a Petoskey Stone. This ring was hand fabricated in sterling silver in my Harbor Springs, MI studio. It has a pretty twisted rope of silver surrounding the stone to make it distinctive. It measures 18mm wide x 22long. Size 7. One of a kind.
