” Open Water” Oil Painting
$1,500.00
Description
Original oil painting on canvas. This was my second swan painting. When I painted the first, a customer saw it and told me the swan’s mate was killed. I learned that they mate for life. I went looking for him and on the third try, I found him in a little patch of open water. It was a cold but sunny day in early March. He was fishing and suddenly got ready for take off. I got a photo of him in the moment with the sunlight passing through his feathers! It measures 30″ x 30″. The frame is a shadow box contemporary white frame and measures 31.5″x 31.5″. I’ve added an extra photo of the painting framed. It’s not the best photo, but will give you an idea of what the frame looks like.
