Did you know that Greenstone, (Chlorastrolite), is our state gemstone? Most people think it is Petoskey Stone but no. Chlorastrolite is found on Isle Royale in Lake Superior but it is said to be illegal to even pick it up on the shore or even in the water! It is that rare. Some find it on the shores of Lake Superior which is where most Lake Superior agates are found. This is the oldest agate on the planet! Very special as well. I’ve combined both into one ring. handcrafted in sterling silver. Size 8.75, it measures 36.5mm long x 19.5mm wide. One of a Kind.
